White Smoke

Blue evening, white smoke

A moonlit road ahead

Spring woods feel like a new world

Right outside my door

Somewhere far away tonight

Midnight trains are rolling

Taking all my sadness

Into empty clouds

There's no worry in my heart

Only sunset shining

Guess I left something behind

If I can't find my way back

I'll go back to where I sang

All those songs when I was younger

Where the white chalk of my dreams

Drew simple days across the air

And I'll drink that dizzy water

The kind that heals the years

Laugh out loud and leave behind

The tired weight of all those grey days
